Particular features

The pre pulse ( VI ) can be set in program LIAN to  0, 100, 200, 300 ( ms ) independent of the baud rate. The pre pulse break is uniform 20 ms. VI and VP are only transmitted with the first telegram.

LSB_FIRST is transmitted.

The blocking time set in LIAN is maintained between two telegrams ( independent of the command ) By cyclic transmission with the program SIMO. A pause of at least in the program LIAN set blocking time is expected between two telegrams. Errors may possibly occur with the receipt of telegrams if the blocking time is parameterized too short.

Bit shifter

In SIMO you can activate a bit shifter via the command 'bs'. It enables you to set a bit conveniently into the information block of the relevant telegram. When exceeding the information area the message address is automatically increased or reduced.

In the window "bit shifter" you can use the following command :
[ 1-9 ] define interval "n"
[ arrow-right ] n bit to the right
[ arrow-left ] n bit to the left
[ arrow-up ] increase message address by 1
[ arrow-down ] reduce message address by 1
[ S ] send message
[ ESC ] quit entry mask
It should be taken into the account that the bit shifter doesn't change the message address and the information block ; previous settings are not lost. 

Transmission errors

*F:Block length : The telegram is too short or too long.
*F:Timetolerance :
  
The received sign cannot be identified clearly ( => parameter "tolerance limit" in LIAN ).
*F:Spike : The received sign is < 20% of a short pulse.
*F:2 out of 5-Code : The address is faulty.
*F:Parity : One of the check signs is wrong.
*F:SYNC : The start sign is incorrect.
