Byte -/ Word-structure

A peculiarity of this protocol is that after 5 directly successive bits of the value 'logical one' a so-called 'compulsory zero' is inserted by the transmitter (and thrown away by the receiver after checking it). That means that the byte pattern on the line is depending on these compulsory zeros.

Automatic identification of directions by 2 direction bits ( bit 0 & 1 i AB1 ).

*F:Blocklength : Message doesn't consist of 5 or 8 bytes.
*F:Parity : Parity-bit is inorrect ( crossparity, P bit ).
*F:Hammingcode : Faulty check code
*F:Spike : The length of a received sign is < 20% of the length of a bit
*F:SYNC : The synchro word (0111 1110) is not correct..
*F:TimeTolerance :  

The measured character length is beyond the tolerance set in LIAN and cannot be allocated  to a number of bits. The sensitivity is adjustable via  the parameter tolerance limit.
