For a sure identification of telegrams  control- monitoring direction must be set.

Telegram structure :

This telegram is of a defined length and structure :
  • one start sign               ( 4 bits long )
  • alternately , 16 times one single sign ( EZ ) with the logical level "low" and one grouped sign ( GZ ) with the logical level "high". A set sign is 4 bits long , an unset sign is 1 bit long.

Length of signs is 1 ( corresponds "to sign not set" ) or 4 ( corresponds "to sign set" ).

  • one parity bit      ( Length 1 or 4 )
  • one final sign  ( Length 6 )

The single sign means : "0" , if length 1 and "1" if length 4.

Group signs : Depending on the parameterization of your equipment , alternatively 1 or 2 grouped signs are set in a telegram. From this the control / monitoring group is worked out. In this example only G2 is set. 

Completes the number of single signs to "even".

The final pulse has a defined length of 6.

LIAN / SIMO - Operating mode

Default of directions ( control or monitoring ).

Transmission errors

*F:Block length : The received length of data block is not 35 pulses.
*F:Grouped sign : Wrong number of grouped signs.
*F:Parity : A received sign within a telegram was neither one , nor 4 bits long.
*F:Final sign : Final step is wrong.
*F:Spike : The length of the received sign is < than 20% of the length of a short sign.
*F:SYNC : The start pulse is not 4 bits long. 
*F:TimeOut : If during telegram reception the maximum permissible time without signal change on the transmission line is exceeded or a received sign is longer than the final step the error message "time out" appears.
*F:Time tolerance :  A received step within a telegram was neither 1 nor 4 nor 7 bits long and was no spike or timeout.
